TOLPUDDLE DINNER
In 2011, Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith MW purchased the Tolpuddle Vineyard in the Coal River Valley in Tasmania. They started with a vision to establish a vineyard recognised as one of Australia’s great single sites. Fast forward 12 years and the Tolpuddle team has not just achieved this feat, they are now one of the most sought after wines in Australia and across the globe as they’ve gained recognition for producing benchmark Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Joined by the brilliant father-daughter duo in Martin and Ella Shaw, the wines are expertly paired with mouth-watering food from head chef Gordon Clark, as we look at the 2022 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir alongside some incredibly-hard-to-get back vintages for reference. Being one of the most anticipated new releases every year, the Stirling Hotel is honoured to be hosting this wine dinner to launch the 2022 Tolpuddle vintage.
