TOLPUDDLE DINNER

In 2011, Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith MW purchased the Tolpuddle Vineyard in the Coal River Valley in Tasmania. They started with a vision to establish a vineyard recognised as one of Australia’s great single sites. Fast forward 12 years and the Tolpuddle team has not just achieved this feat, they are now one of the most sought after wines in Australia and across the globe as they’ve gained recognition for producing benchmark Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Joined by the brilliant father-daughter duo in Martin and Ella Shaw, the wines are expertly paired with mouth-watering food from head chef Gordon Clark, as we look at the 2022 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir alongside some incredibly-hard-to-get back vintages for reference. Being one of the most anticipated new releases every year, the Stirling Hotel is honoured to be hosting this wine dinner to launch the 2022 Tolpuddle vintage. A wine dinner experience not to be missed!

DOMAINE DUJAC DINNER

We are thrilled to bring you a dinner featuring one of the great wine producers of the world, Domaine Dujac. From Morey-Saint-Denis in Burgundy, the Seysses family established Domaine Dujac in 1968 and quickly gained cult status for their ethereal Pinot Noirs. They even have a strong Australian connection with some of Australia’s greatest winemakers working vintage at Dujac, including the likes of Stephen Henschke and Gary Farr.

We will have Tim Evans, National Imports Manager for Negociants Australia on hand to guide us through some amazing back vintages cellared at the Stirling Hotel.
